What do we actually do with all our photos?
That’s the problem that ten years of digital photography, combined with a huge improvement in phone cameras and growing personal storage capacity has created.
We know we don’t want to delete them but we also know we don’t have the time to go through them all, and we definitely know that we don’t have the skill with a computer to try and make them look good, and yet, they continue to sit there, languishing in digital darkness.
Others have tried valiantly to solve this problem. Apple, Google and Microsoft have all launched products to encourage you to make photo books, but (**BRIGHT FLASHING LIGHTS ** Here comes our USP!!!) they still rely on you to do the design work yourself.
At Ansel & Fox, we think that the human touch is the only way and so it’s simple: You send us your photographs and we design your photo book for you.
Every quarter we update the design and, if you want you can share it with your family and friends. At the end of the 12 month membership period, you approve the design and it goes to be manufactured. Et voila! A stunning, beautifully designed photo year book arrives on your doorstep!

How do I transfer photos to you?
Once you have become an A&F Member, you will receive a link via email to a secure gallery. You will be able to use it to upload high resolution images from any device at any time. We will then be able to download them directly from your gallery to use in the book’s design.
How do I view the design?
After the first quarter, you will be sent a link to your design, which will then be viewable online at any time during your Membership period.
You will be able to update/comment on/draft the design through the online system, and it will be updated at each further quarter, including any additional photographs and alterations that you have added through the system.
How many photos am I allowed?
The number of photos you have in your final book depends on which Membership Level to joined.
Any photo you upload after that number will be disregarded and not included in your book.
When do I give you photos?
As soon as you receive your upload link you can start uploading your photos.
Through the course of the year you can upload more at any point, but be wary of going over your limit…
What's your cancellation and refund policy?
Initially, you will have 14 days to cancel your Membership after signing up.
There will then be a further window to cancel your Membership for 14 days after the first viewing of the draft of the design (after the first quarter).
You will receive a full refund on both occasions.
Otherwise, regardless of how many photos you upload, you are committed for the full 12 months.
Can I get more than one copy of my book?
Once the design has been approved by you at the end of the 112 months, we will ask you if you want any duplicates. If so, further books books can be ordered for an additional fee per book.
Can I have more than one subscription?
You will have two galleries to upload your images to so please just be careful that the right images go into the right book!
How do you design the cover?
Towards the end of the Membership period, we will ask you to nominate the image for the front cover and tell us what title you want.
We’ll draft it and fire it over to you for approval. Once done, we’ll attach it to the approved design and fire the whole lot off for manufacture.
Is shipping included?
We are currently only shipping to the UK & Europe, but of course we have aspirations to be global!
The shipping cost will be billed as a flat rate in addition to the first month’s membership fee when you sign up.
What if I want a bigger book?
Currently we only have one size of book on offer for the A&F Membership Program, but we plan to have more in due course.
If you want a different sized book now, we do that through the Bespoke Photo Book system.

What if I want a book of just one event now?
If all of the photos already exist (ie one set from a wedding, party or holiday), get in touch directly and we’ll give you a quote for an album or a book through the bespoke system – email@example.com
Can you help me if I'm struggling to upload photos?
We’ve tried to make it as simple as possible to upload photos and in time, we hope to make it even simpler…
However, if at any point you get stuck uploading photos, please just ping us – firstname.lastname@example.org – and we’ll do everything we can to streamline it for you. 😁
Can I change my photos?
Once the photos have been used in a quarterly draft, they will be unable to be changed.
However, any that are submitted prior to the draft being updated can be changed at any point. Just let us know and we’ll make it happen. At this stage, you are unable to do it yourself, but of course we hope to change that in due course.
What do the pages look like?
Each page looks different as it depends on the shape of the photos uploaded. This is where the human element comes in because each page is individually designed by a human designer, looking to make it as best they can.
When is my Membership year?
Your membership year stretches from the day you sign up for 364 days.
If you want your yearbook to run from January to December, drop us a line and we’ll can put your signup on hold until 1st January to make it run for a calendar year.
Am I able to give a Membership plan to someone else?
Yes, absolutely. We have no automatic way for this to happen at the moment, so email us – email@example.com – and we’ll do it manually for you.
